Bat Cave Preserve

Summer hikes of the Bat Cave Preserve. Hike up a steep trail through a mature hardwood forest to be rewarded with Bat

's natural air conditioning. A variety of habitats and inhabitants, wildflowers, and rare salamanders. Trail is less than a mile in each direction but does get strenuous. Bat

is the largest known granite fissure cave in North America
